Everything was at stake for the participants of America’s Got Talent to proceed on to the semifinals, however, one winner of the Golden Buzzer did not get a chance to be a part of the round.

Terry Crews, host of America’s Got Talent mentioned missing Nightbirde despite the great show put up by the rest of the participants. Nightbirde is the singer from Ohio, Jane Marczewski, who had earlier mentioned having a mere 2% chance at survival because of some cancer present in her spine, liver, and lungs.

Nightbirde was one of the participants who successfully earned the Golden Buzzer from Simon Cowell, in America’s Got Talent and securing her place in the live shows. This was closely followed by a reveal about her degrading health, and that she was more than her fight with cancer. Earlier this month, it came to light that she had to withdraw from AGT because her health was degrading for the worse.

America’s Got Talent On Nightbirde’s Exit

Jane Marczewski made a return to America’s Got Talent virtually on Wednesday to give an update after her withdrawal from the competition. She mentioned her gratitude for being given an opportunity to perform at such a big platform and for allowing her some time to be able to share her story. She also mentioned the immense amount of support that has come her way from being able to share her story across AGT.

Simon Cowell, one of the judges of America’s Got Talent mentioned that it was right of the singer to withdraw from the competition and focus on her wellbeing, and her recovery. He told her that it was the rightly justified reason and her health should be among the highest of her priorities. Although the singer felt that she had let people down because of her withdrawal, it was justified of her, and Simon mentioned on behalf of America’s Got Talent that she was a winner even though she had not competed.
