The final date to submit a proposal for speaking at the 2025 Water Finance Conference is Friday, February 28. This year’s conference will take place for its eleventh annual gathering on August 5-6, 2025, in Scottsdale, Arizona, at the SkySong Innovation Center. Interested presenters should send a 200-word abstract detailing their proposed presentation and speaker information.
The Water Finance Conference serves as a two-day educational seminar designed for executive-level professionals in the utility sector, addressing a broad spectrum of topics related to financial management in water utilities. This includes local challenges such as rates/charges and customer affordability, as well as regional concepts like consolidation, accessing federal funding, and complying with regulatory guidelines.
The theme for this year’s conference will center around “Financing Water in the West,” with an emphasis on how these subjects specifically pertain to the southwestern United States. The Program Committee highly encourages submissions from utility representatives; if you are a consultant or provider of products/services, it is preferred that your proposal includes a utility representative as a co-presenter.
Note that these submissions are exclusively for presentations (no written papers required). Send your 200-word abstract to Water Finance & Management Managing Editor Andrew Farr at [email protected] by February 28, 2025.
