Gate City Bank Honored by North Dakota Housing Finance Agency – Jamestown Sun

BISMARCK – The North Dakota Housing Finance Agency (NDHFA) has recently recognized Gate City Bank with an Award of Excellence for exemplary practices and exceptional service delivery in the agency’s homeownership programs.

In North Dakota, six Champions of Affordable Housing awards were presented. The state agency offers affordable financing, down payment assistance, and closing cost help primarily to individuals and families buying a home for the first time.

“NDHFA’s Champion Awards acknowledge and applaud the efforts of individuals and businesses that strive to provide affordable housing options for the residents of North Dakota,” stated Dave Flohr, the agency’s executive director.

“In 2024, NDHFA assisted 2,189 households in purchasing homes — including first-time buyers, families who required support to buy again, and households with special needs,” Flohr added. “All buyers were informed about our homeownership programs through one of our exceptional housing partners.”
