Two prominent coordinated efforts were focusing on the top spot on the current week’s Billboard Hot 100 chart update, with Doja Cat’s Nicki Minaj-helped “Say So” and Megan Thee Stallion’s Beyoncé-highlighting “Savage” both competing for No. 1. Presently, checking triumph in a nearby as-hellfire diagrams race, the respect goes to “Say So.”

Strikingly, this is both Doja and Nicki’s first-ever No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100. Last week, Kid Cudi earned his first with the top spot introduction of his Travis Scott collab “The Scotts.”

“Say So” initially showed up on Doja Cat’s 2019 album Hot Pink, which likewise includes the squint 182-sampling single “Bottom Bitch.” The tune was pushed to radio in mid-2020 as the album’s fifth official single. The Nicki remix, be that as it may, didn’t spring as of recently.

“Say So” also sees a jump from No. 16 to No. 1 on the Digital Song Sales outline with 66,000 downloads sold in the week closure May 7.

On the Radio Songs diagram, the track jumps one spot to No. 2 and ascends to No. 4 on the Streaming Songs outline, with the last demonstrating an 87% hop to 30.3 million U.S. streams for the week.

The track is now No. 1 on the Pop Songs radio airplay chart, just as the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and Hot R&B Songs charts.

The Bey-assisted version lands at No. 2 on the current week’s chart. The track bounces to the top spot on the Streaming Songs chart as well, turning into Megan’s first to do as such. It holds its No. 2 spot on the Digital Song Sales chart with 50,000 sold.

Obviously, regardless of who diagrams devotees were pulling for in the current week’s Billboard update, this would have been a triumph in any case, as the two tunes are unequivocal features in each artist’s lists.

Somewhere else in charts news, Drake was hindered from a No. 1 introduction on the Billboard 200 by Kenny Chesney.

Preceding the Chesney square, Drake had packed away nine back to back No. 1 makes a big appearance on the collections diagram. On the new Hot 100 update, Drake and Playboi Carti’s long-awaited “Pain 1993” arrived at No. 7.
