THE DIRECTOR OF NATIONAL INTELLIGENCE
THE DIRECTOR OF THE CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE AGENCY
SUBJECT: Immediate Disclosure of Documents Pertaining to the FBI’s Crossfire Hurricane Inquiry
By the authority granted to me as President under the Constitution and the laws of the United States, I hereby issue the following directive:
With exceptions noted below, I have concluded that all materials mentioned in the Presidential Memorandum dated January 19, 2021 (Declassification of Certain Materials Associated with the FBI’s Crossfire Hurricane Inquiry), are no longer classified.
Furthermore, I have determined that the materials proposed for redaction by the Federal Bureau of Investigation in a correspondence dated January 17, 2021, will remain classified.
My decision to declassify the aforementioned materials does not apply to documents that must be safeguarded from disclosure in accordance with orders from the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court and does not necessitate the release of specific personally identifiable information or any other documents that are legally required to be protected from disclosure.
Subject to the aforementioned exceptions, the Attorney General shall promptly make the declassified materials referenced in this memorandum available to the public.
