Jeremy Renner is continuing his journey of recovery following the serious snowplow accident he experienced in January, while expressing gratitude to those who have supported him.
The star of “Rennervations” shared an update on the Stories feature of his verified Instagram account ahead of the weekend, depicting his recent trip to Renown Regional Medical Center, a hospital in Reno, Nevada.
“I had the chance to reconnect with the incredible team who saved my life,” wrote Renner, 52, over an image of himself standing among a group of people in front of a screen that read “Welcome back!”
He shared two additional photos with the medical staff, including one taken outside near a Renown sign.
On New Year’s Day, Renner was critically injured by a snowplow while clearing snow for a family member near his Nevada residence. The accident resulted in multiple fractures, including eight broken ribs, an eye socket injury, as well as damage to his knee and shoulder. Additionally, his liver was punctured, and one lung collapsed.
Recently, the “Hawkeye” actor made his first red carpet appearance since the harrowing incident, attending the premiere of his Disney+ series “Rennervations.”
The series features Renner and his team as they refurbish and repurpose vehicles to assist communities and children in need.
Currently, three episodes are available for streaming, with a fourth episode, set in India, slated to premiere soon.
