OnePlus Nord Hands-on Review

OnePlus is going to come back to the middle with its OnePlus Nord. After revolutionizing the entire spectrum of smartphones for the upper strata of society, they are bringing their core-experience and designs at a lesser price with the OnePlus Nord. Interestingly, this isn’t the first time OnePlus has delved into the mid-price range, as they brought OnePlus X in the market. Unfortunately, it never received the response it should have being a great phone. So OnePlus shelved it.

But there is a difference in the market now. OnePlus X wasn’t all that cheaper than OnePlus 2- which was the flagship phone at that time. Now, OnePlus 8 is significantly more expensive than a mid-range phone- where OnePlus Nord factors in heavily. And now, the OnePlus Nord is no longer just another experiment for OnePlus- it is a weapon aimed straight at the middle price segment.

The OnePlus Nord comes with a plastic body, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 front and back. It boasts of a 48 MP rear camera, and a 32MP front camera. It supports both Android 10 and Oxygen OS 10.5. There are two variants in its RAM- the one with 4Gb, and the one with 8GB, with both having different memory storage capacities- 128 and 256 GB respectively.

The equation is simple- OnePlus has to bring out a great phone at a budget price.
