On Tuesday, ESPN’s SportsCenter account tweeted a boy wanting to dislodge a loose tooth. The technique? Go full Patrick Mahomes.

One end of the string across the tooth, the other attached to a Kansas City Chiefs’ football. After expressing “this is one way an MVP gets their tooth out,” the youngster threw the ball and with another later, his tooth was free.

Mahomes has undoubtedly been the inspiration for a lot. His exploits on the field resulted in the Chiefs winning their first Super Bowl in 50 years previous month, which means you can imagine the quantity of bad tattoos. It’s also safe to assume plenty of kids seeking to launch passes using their left hands or without looking – probably resulting in some cracked windows in a nearby.

But this? Another level. We’re discussing a tooth being yanked out, which hopefully leads to a little money from the Tooth Fairy. Maybe Mahomes gets in on the action and demands a cut considering his role in this thing.

After winning both the Super Bowl and the game’s MVP award, Mahomes has lots of adoring fans. In two seasons as a starter, the 24-year-old is one of the game’s most decorated players, including a 2018 NFL MVP award, earned by throwing for 5,097 yards and 50 touchdowns.
