‘Raised By Wolves’ Theme Song: Who Sings It and What Does the Song Mean?

HBO Max’s Raised By Wolves is a show that seemingly breaks all the normal rules of television. That includes the song that plays over the sci-fi thriller’s opening titles. The Raised By Wolves theme song is haunting, somber, poetic, and inherently mysterious. The lyrics shift from Episode 2 to 3, and the song itself doesn’t even have a name (that we know of!). Raised By Wolves is a science fiction series created by Aaron Guzikowski and executive produced by Sir Ridley Scott. The show opens on the arrival of two androids on an alien world called Kepler-22b. Mother (Amanda Collin) and Father (Abubakar Salim) have been tasked with raising a new generation of humanity to live life as atheists. 13 years after their arrival, though, they’ve only managed to keep one child, Campion (Winta McGrath), alive. Further complicating matters? A great space ship carrying members of the “Mithraic Church” have just arrived to colonize the planet. Raised By Wolves is as much the story of these two forces pitted against each other as it is about the profound power of parenthood. Especially adopted parenthood.
