The FBI recently disclosed that it had been receiving around 4,500 regarding Brett Kavanaugh as a part of the background investigation in 2018. This investigation preceded the subsequent nomination of Kavanaugh as the Supreme Court Judge- which did provide relevant tips regarding former President Donald Trump and his maladministration in the Oval Office.

The precise number of tips was disclosed in a letter that was put out by Senator Sheldon Whitehouse on Thursday- which was dated the 30th of June.

Brett Kavanaugh And His Can Of Worms

This revelation against Brett Kavanaugh did bring about major accusations from liberals who have complained that both the FBI as well as the Trump White House didn’t exactly examine all the allegations that were placed against the Judiciary official on the eve of several accusations that came from Dr. Christine Blasey Ford.

The accusation stated that the former had assaulted Dr. Ford in the Maryland suburbs when they were both high-schoolers. The allegations did create a holdup regarding his confirmation- even though Kavanaugh did deny the accusations.

The letter published by Sen. Whitehouse has Assistant Director Jill Tyson stating that Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination was literally the first time that the FBI had established a tip line for a nominee that was undergoing confirmation for the Senate- where the tips also involved electronic submissions and phone calls.

The A.D. further claimed that the relevant information was directly sent to the Office of the White House Counsel where it served as the requesting entity.

Jill Tyson also reiterated the comments that the Director of the FBI, Christopher Wray had made previously in Congressional testimony- the FBI strictly served as an investigative service provider for federal background investigations. The main role of the agency in the matter of Brett Kavanaugh was to simply respond to the requests from the council in the White House.
