There have been multiple calls made for another stimulus check payment in the United States- with campaigners and politicians demanding more support. Nevertheless, it seems pretty unlikely that the federal government would be providing more financial aid in the form of stimulus payments. Yet, there is still some hope for financial aid as most of the states have been sending stimulus-style packages. One such form of financial help would be the new $1,400 payment in 2022, but a number of requirements have to be met in order to be eligible for this program.

Call For Another Stimulus Check Payment

While certain senators have been calling for another stimulus check payment to be pushed out to help citizens, it doesn’t look like the federal government is particularly interested in following through. Those who have been living in the United States have already seen the state of the economy that was cushioned through the payments, but a larger issue remains that the responsibility for widespread financial aid is completely in the hands of state governments, rather than the federal government.

On the other side of the coin, there have been a few voices that have argued against the formulation of further stimulus check payments, as they have claimed that the payments have had a negative effect on the overall economy. Those who have been against the idea have also pointed to the massive rise in inflation- as one of the reasons for not pushing for another stimulus payment.

Although a fourth stimulus check payment doesn’t seem to feature heavily on the cards, there are quite a number of ways through which one would be able to receive financial aid. Some of the states have already organized major programs which are quite similar to the stimulus payment schemes, while there are others who have paid extra cash to professionals like teachers.
