Tiger Woods Confirms Relationship with Donald Trump’s Ex-Daughter-in-Law

Tiger Woods has officially revealed that he is in a relationship with Vanessa Trump, the former daughter-in-law of Donald Trump.

Woods shared the news on Sunday, declaring, “Love is in the air and life is better with you by my side! We eagerly anticipate our journey through life together,” in a post on X, addressing his 6.4 million followers. He also requested privacy for their loved ones at this time.

Vanessa was married to Donald Trump Jr. from 2005 to 2018, and the couple has five children, including 17-year-old Kai, who is preparing to play golf at the University of Miami in 2026. Kai attends the same school as Woods’s children, Sam and Charlie, and the two recently competed in the same invitational tournament.

Woods and Vanessa Trump had been the subject of media speculation in recent weeks. This month, Woods also announced he had ruptured his Achilles tendon, which will prevent him from competing in the Masters.

It remains uncertain what prompted Woods, who is known for keeping his personal life extremely private, to publicly share photos confirming their relationship. This announcement echoes a similar moment in 2013 when he and Lindsey Vonn confirmed their relationship via social media.

In that previous announcement, Woods expressed that he and Vonn aimed to reduce the presence of “stalkarazzi” and avoid potential unsafe situations involving his children, stating they wanted to diminish the value of the paparazzi’s photos.

Sam and Charlie, Woods’s children, are from his marriage to Elin Nordegren, which ended in 2010 after he faced allegations of multiple infidelities.

Woods’s most noteworthy prior public relationship was with Erica Herman, which lasted about seven years before their tumultuous split in October 2022. Herman eventually dropped lawsuits against Woods and the trust managing his south Florida property, where she had been residing.

Woods has played golf with Donald Trump multiple times and was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by Trump in 2019. In February, Woods participated in a meeting with Trump at the White House to address the controversies surrounding golf, particularly in light of the Saudi-backed LIV tour.
