Tom Brady told to leave Florida park closed by coronavirus: report

Tom Brady, quarterback for Tampa Bay Buccaneers was recently asked to leave a park in Florida closed under lockdown guidelines. On Monday, Mayor Jane Castor in a live Facebook chat informed Mayor of St.Petersburg, Rick Kriseman, of the incident.

Castor jokingly said that she was not the one to gossip and spill the beans but went ahead and revealed that the NFL star with a record of 249 game wins wasn’t given any special privileges in his new home state.

She revealed that a Park staff, on a regular patrol-round, found Brady working out. And since the park is temporarily shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the staff member had to tell Brady to leave.

The City of Tampa later tweeted, “Sorry @TomBrady! Our @tampaparksrec team can’t wait to welcome you and our entire community back with even bigger smiles — until then, stay safe and stay home as much as you can to help flatten the curve.”

Brady recently moved into a mansion in Tampa leased from the star of New York Yankees, Derek Jeter.
