Trump Loses Composure Over Reporter’s Simple Question on Tariffs: ‘So Ridiculous’

Trump responded sharply to Bloomberg’s Annmarie Hordern after she inquired whether there is a point at which market discomfort becomes intolerable.

“I find your question incredibly foolish,” Trump retorted.

“I don’t want anything to decline, but at times, you have to endure some discomfort to correct issues. We’ve been severely mistreated by other nations due to the poor leadership that allowed this situation to develop,” he elaborated.

During the press conference, Trump took questions from other reporters, and the discussion briefly shifted to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

Hordern attempted to steer the conversation back to tariffs, but Trump utilized his common strategy of asking, “Who are you with?” to deflect the inquiry.

Upon learning she was with Bloomberg, he moved on to another journalist, stating, “She asks too many questions.”
