The Mitchells vs. the Machines

The new movie available on Netflix, The Mitchells vs. The Machines turned out to be apt for the generation most active in today’s internet. It is an animated comedy directed by Mike Rianda, who was also the director of Gravity Falls, and produced by Chris Miller and Phil Lord. Chris Miller was also the producer of Lego. The movie, The Mitchells vs. the Machines, is about a story of this road trip taken by a highly dysfunctional family and a machine uprising, which was pretty poorly timed. The story beams with electric bright visuals. Riana managed to find one family message, humor, and heart, all of which weren’t super cheesy. This movie is an amazingly sharp movie about the internet generation and technology.

Background Story Of The Mitchells vs. the Machines

The Mitchells vs. the Machines begins with a simple but deceptive setup with Abbi Jacobson playing Katie who is a young and tech-savvy filmmaker. Katie doesn’t get along with her father, Rick, played by Danny McBride, who is pretty old-fashioned and is unable to “get” her. During her last night’s stay at her home, Katie and her family had a big fight. So Rick dragged his whole family and went on a road trip. The road trip was intended to move Katie to her new destination.

With things and situations getting tenser than ever, PAL, an AI, played by Olivia Colman, goes into a frenzy and launches an apocalypse like Skynet. Robots managed to capture every human being on earth except Katie and her family. The Mitchells vs. the Machines start to get more interesting from there! So, when are you giving it a watch?
