Amidst grave COVID-positive reports, there has also been a 20% increase in disinfectant poisonings in people according to CDC reports. This has happened after a statement made by the President himself on the use of disinfectants to cleanse our bodies off the virus.
Trump said in his statement, “And then I see the disinfectant where it knocks it out in one minute. Is there a way we can do something like that by injection inside or almost a cleaning…it would be interesting to check that.”
Following this, Lysol and Dettol maker Reckitt Benckiser is urging people not to consume their cleaning products and warning them of the possible negative outcomes.
