Three states of America will see the last date for application for as many as four programs within the next two weeks. These programs are not stimulus checks, however, they provide just as much, if not more in relief. The states are Colorado, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina.

The 4 Programs Akin To Stimulus Checks

Furthermore, Colorado residents can be eligible for 2 of these stimulus check-like programs at the same time. Nationwide, multiple states have attempted to return money to their residents via targeted programs. Some of the funds came from budget surpluses, in lieu of unspent pandemic funds. Others are in the form of tax rebates.

For Colorado residents, June 30th is the last date for application for the Food Tax Rebate Program. Individuals who qualify can get payments worth up to $99, while for families, the amount can reach $302. To qualify, an individual’s income must not exceed $43,900 while for four-member families, it must not be more than $62,700.

Colorado residents can also apply for the PTC (Property, tax, rent, heat) rebate. June 10th is the last date for this one, and the qualification criteria is an entire year lived in the state between January 1st and December 31st, 2022.

The third stimulus check-like program is North Carolina’s Greensboro residents. They can get a tax rebate on property worth $150 via the Low-Income Homeowner Assistance Program. Qualification criteria include living in the house for the previous 5 years as well as the house’s tax value being no higher than $250,000.

The final stimulus check-like program is the Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program available to residents of Pennsylvania. Successful applications can get a payment in the range of $250 to $975. This one is for the elderly resident who is at least 65 years old.
