Fred the Godson has passed away after being infected with COVID-19 at the beginning of this month.
He announced that he got infected for the first time when he went to the hospital and put on a ventilator on April 6. His wife clarified that he wasn’t feeling well. He purportedly began to be better in the hospital. However, in the end, he lost in fighting the virus on Thursday.
Information about the 35-year-old’s passing announced by his social media fans. A spokesman for Fred the Godson affirmed his death then.
Fred has been a public figure in New York rap for more than 10 years since he appeared on the XXL Freshman cover with the likes of Kendrick Lamar and Mac Miller. He cooperated with Diddy, Meek Mill, and Pusha-T among others, and still famous until the day he died. Only this year, Fred the Godson released a solo project and a cooperative one with Jay Pharoah.
