Celebs live a luxurious life and are better equipped to face quarantine in their mansions. We all know that. But fans became upset when Bieber and Jenner took to Instagram to rub their rich lives in.
In a chat, the two expressed how grateful they are to have everything because they “worked hard” to earn it while people are struggling for basic amenities. While Bieber did bring up the hardships being faced by “others”, words like ‘crappy’ and ‘crippling’ did not help his sentiments get across.
Bieber and wife Haley Baldwin were cuddling on a couch in the post and they talked to Jenner about her new house and hobbies while being locked-down. Jenner responded that she loved the place. She went on to say how it took her a year to renovate it.
Bieber and Jenner are not the only celebrities to have been insensitive to their social media followers. Gwyneth Paltrow had earlier tried to sell $450 each shirt and sneakers receiving sharp backlash from financially breaking society.
Scheana Shay, ‘Vanderpump Rules’ star, had refused to give up her social life. Though she later apologized and promised to take this situation seriously.
