According to insiders who spoke to ESPN, Kylian Mbappe is aiming to depart from PSG in Jan since his rapport with the team has soured.
The 23-year-old Kylian Mbappe has renewed his contract at PSG only 5 months ago. According to reports, he feels out of step with the team’s approach both on and away from the field. Although he is open to all ideas, reports said that Real Madrid will be his first choice.
The French international started and scored for the hosts in Tuesday’s Champions League campaign against Benfica, that finished in a 1-1 tie. PSG has still not made an official statement, but reports claim the club wants to keep Kylian Mbappe and plans to address the matter after the match.
According to reports, Kylian Mbappe believes that promises given by president Al-Khelaifi, coach Christophe Galtier, especially sports director Luis Campos were not fulfilled. According to sources familiar to Kylian Mbappe, signing a new contract to remain at the team in May was a mistake.
Campos claimed Kylian Mbappe still hadn’t asked him or Nasser Al-Khelaifi to leave the team in Jan prior to PSG’s match with Benfica.
