Nikki Haley Considers Her Husband’s Deployment To Be A Proud Moment

Nikki Haley, the Presidential candidate from the Republican end, stated that although it was quite difficult to see her husband being deployed to Africa with the South Carolina Army National Guard, the arrangement did represent quite a proud moment for both the state and the country.

The official ceremony for deployment for the brigade that includes the candidate’s husband, Michael Haley, took place on Saturday afternoon at The Citadel military college in Charleston. The brigade is currently being deployed to Africa in support of the United States Africa Command. A source close to the field of deployment informed CNN that Michael Hely would be deployed through the spring of 2024, which would then overlap with a large part of the Republican primary nominating calendar. As it turns out, this is going to be his second active-duty deployment overseas.

Speaking to the reporters after the ceremony, Nikki Haley mentioned that Father’s Day was a little different for them in 2023. The ceremony was attended by her and their other family members. The former ambassador to the United Nations mentioned that she and her husband would try to be in touch as best as they could over the coming year and that Michael would always be supporting her presidential ambitions from a distance. Nikki stated that the couple had always lived a life of service, and so when Michael went out on deployment, her support was always with him. And now that she was about to run for President, his support was also with her.

Earlier this week, Nikki Haley rebuked the former President of the United States over his federal indictment for his alleged mishandling of classified documents.
