The fourth batch of Social Security Stimulus Check is on its way to you.
In 2022, the cost of living adjustment for around 64 million Social Security recipients increased by 5.9%. According to birth dates, Social Security payments will be mailed on the second, third, and fourth Wednesdays. Retired workers’ monthly Stimulus Checks would jump from $1,565 to $1,657 as a result of the hike.
The couple’s monthly benefits increased from $2,599 to $2,753. Meanwhile, the number of handicapped Americans increased by 5.9%. “We have had hundreds of emails from seniors anxious about making ends meet,” Shannon Benton of the Senior Citizens League told the Sun in an interview.
The Stimulus Check Will Provide Some Relief To Seniors
“For many, the large cost of living adjustment compounded their financial problems by pushing their income past program limitations, making them ineligible for medicare savings programs and other assistance.”
Schedule of Social Security Stimulus Checks –
Your cheque will be delivered on Wednesday, April 13 if your birthday falls between the 1st and 10th of the month.
-If you were born between the 11th and the 20th of April, your check will arrive on Wednesday, April 20.
-If your birthday falls between the 21st and 31st of April, your check will arrive on Wednesday, April 27.
With Social Security benefits, the federal government can help. If those payments are insufficient to meet your basic requirements, you may be eligible for the Supplemental Security Income (SSI) program.
SSI is offered to anyone aged 65 and over who has low economic resources. Adults and children with disabilities get SSI benefits on a monthly basis. You’ll need precise financial criteria to qualify.
