Among the states, Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, and Virginia continue to support residents in various ways. Residents in Alaska who meet the parameters will soon get to cash a stimulus check worth $1,312. While thousands of residents have already received their payments, there continue to be many who are yet to receive theirs.
Stimulus Check Are In The Form Of Dividends And Tax Rebates
The Alaska payments are part of the Permanent Fund Dividend declared by Alaska for 2023. Qualifying residents are set to receive the stimulus check of around $,300 and many have already received it this month.
This year marks the 42nd that residents will receive their share of the PFD. This year the state processed 8,000 more applications than in the previous year. Around $ 1 billion will be directly injected into the accounts of residents. Alabama is also giving out stimulus checks to residents that will help enable them to face record inflation and the lingering impact of a crashed economy triggered by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Residents will receive up to $300 for couples filing jointly while individual filers will receive half that amount. Filers directly received their payment through bank transfers. For those who have not linked their bank account, the stimulus check will arrive by mail through the US Postal Service.
Dependents of income tax filers in Arizona will receive up to $750 for a maximum of three dependents. Virginia is giving residents a stimulus check of $200 if they declare tax liability in 2022. This is calculated after deducting tax credits.
