It has been well-documented that close to 20 states have already approved some form of a stimulus check payment to their residents this year. But it is also well-known that residents in a dozen of them are still waiting to receive the payment. So, if you are currently in one of the 12 states and you haven’t yet seen your payment come through the mail, you need to wait for a little more time- for the check might be coming through over the next month.

In the state of California, most of the eligible citizens of the state have already received their Middle-Class Tax Refund payments of around $1,050 in October- but there are still a few direct deposits that would have to be made through the 14th of November. It is also expected that the debit card payments will be issued out through the 14th of January, 2023.

Stimulus Check Payments In Different States

In Colorado’s effort to prevent tax fraud, the state did issue physical stimulus check payments of around $750 or $1500 for the joint filers, most of which were pretty well-received by the 30th of September. But those who have filed for a tax extension would be receiving the payments through the 31st of January, 2023. In the state of Delaware, the eligible residents who had not previously received a Delaware Relief Rebate payment will be able to apply for the stimulus payment of $300 during an application period of 30 days which will be ending on the 30th of November.

For the state of Hawaii, citizens can ideally expect a stimulus check payment of $300 on or before the 31st of December. And for the citizens of Idaho who do qualify for the payment- they will be receiving a sum of $300- which would be $600 for couples- throughout the rest of this year, as well as the early part of 2023.
