Since millions of Americans have been hit hard by inflation this year, several governments are distributing stimulus check payments to help ease the financial strain.

Hundreds of thousands have been paid out in refunds and stimulus initiatives.

The stimulus check payouts are less than the federal government’s, but they will still assist many people to deal with price increases.

The 10 States Offering Stimulus Checks

A single Colorado resident may get a refund of $400 and a married couple can expect a refund of $800.

Both full-time residency and tax filing by May 31st are prerequisites for eligibility.

Transfers will be made in either August or September.

Six hundred thousand Delawareans, depending on their tax situation, will get $300 to $600.

Individuals receiving a $250 payment, heads of households receiving $375, and married couples filing jointly receiving $500 are all eligible for payments from the state of Georgia.

Citizens of Idaho will get a tax refund equal to $75, or 12% of their state taxes paid in 2020.

Payouts of $125 for single filers and $250 for married filers will be made to Indiana citizens.

This year, stimulus check contributions to citizens of Illinois amount to $400.

A $1.2 billion surplus allowed the state to increase payments to Maine citizens by $850 per person.

If you live in New Jersey and earn between $15,000 and $75,000 per year and have at least one dependant, you may be eligible for a $500 rebate.

Residents of New Mexico are eligible to receive a $250-$500 stimulus payment and a child tax credit of $25-$75 per child.

There is now a viable idea for a government energy rebate payment program.

The Gas Rebate Act of 2022 would provide a one-time payment of $100 to individual taxpayers, with the rebate decreasing to zero after annual income reaches $75,000 for singles and $150,000 for joint filers.
