Timothee Chalamet and Zendaya are entering summer hand-in-hand. During the previous weekend, the costars of Dune attended a Los Angeles birthday party together. The party was hosted at Pan Pacific Park and it was for Darell Appling, the assistant of Zendaya who turned 26. Their social media accounts received quite a few videos and photos from the outing.
Zendaya’s Night Out At The Party
A fan account of Zendaya shared a clip on Twitter that showed the actress dancing along with quite a few other attendees of the birthday party. The song playing was “Before I Let Go” by Beyonce. In another clip, 27-year-old Chalamet can be seen mingling and dancing with other guests with a solo cup in red in his hands. For his attire, Chalamet had on a jersey of the Los Angeles Lakers.
In another picture of the event, posted on Twitter, Chalamet is seen sporting a custom T-Shirt with the words “Darnell’s Freaknik ‘23”. Further videos were available for the viewers on Appling’s Instagram Story, which showed a lot of the attendees wearing that shirt.
Zendaya’s duet appearance with Chalamet arrives while the pair wait for Dune: Part Two’s release in November this year. The two had already starred in the prequel of the epic of science fiction in 2021. Their previous appearance together was at CinemaCon 2023 in April. Denis Villeneuve, the filmmaker, had joined them at the Las Vegas event to display the latest film’s trailer.
However, dancing alongside each other is not something new for Chalamet and Zendaya. In 2021 February, the star of Euphoria reminisced about hosting parties just for dancing with the help of her costar during the filming of the first part of Dune. She had recalled it while talking with Stephen Colbert on his Late Night Show.
