Apple’s default Mail app for the iPhone has a severe security flaw, researchers claim

The iPhone series has a serious issue with its native iOS Mail app and this issue can make it vulnerable to hacker attacks. Based on a report published by a security firm, ZecOps, the iOS Mail app has been used in about six high-profile cyberattacks. Previously, Apple had not mentioned this flaw in their system. 

ZecOps is of the belief: “with high confidence that these vulnerabilities… are widely exploited in the wild in targeted attacks by an advanced threat operator(s).” While ZecOps does not have any public proof against this problem, Apple seems to be coming out with an update, which will address this issue and make their apps more secure.
