Offensively, YG has contacted South Korean law enforcement to inquire as to the source of the leaked photos of Jennie, some of which seem to show her having dinner with V of BTS. “Photos that were disseminated online were unlawfully published, despite the motives behind them and without the authorization of the person concerned,” YG stated in a statement about the incident. Those private pictures have triggered widespread gossip, criticism, personal insults, sexual harassment, and invasions of privacy.

According to JTBC, a Korean news outlet, V not only attended the private party, but he also spent time with Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa of the girl group BLACKPINK. Neither party has publicly acknowledged their connection, although many photographs suggest they hang together often. Many others, however, claim that the photographs that have been leaked online are fakes that have been altered in some way.
