Former President Mohamed Hosni Mubarak died, at the age of 94, after a struggle with illness.
Mubarak, the son of Kafr Mosayleh, Menoufia, assumed the presidency of Egypt for nearly thirty years, following the assassination of former President Anwar Sadat, and the massive popular protests that started on January 25th and lasted for 18 days forced him to step down, on February 11, 2011.
