‘Capone’ First Trailer: Tom Hardy’s Notorious Gangster is Diseased but Deadly in Florida

Writer cum director Josh Trank revealed “Capone’s” first trailer on Wednesday, and tweeted “Tom Hardy. Capone. Coming May 12.”

The movie starring Tom Hardy, who depicts the life of gangster Al Capone, is scheduled for VOD rental from 12 May. The movie can be rented for 48 hours.

In his tweet, Trank said that the movie was scheduled for release in the theatres but couldn’t due to the pandemic, and hoped that it would be ready for release at the end of this year.

Based on true incidents, Capone portrays the once extravagant life of Chicago’s mob boss in Miami after he was done with 11 years of imprisonment. 

It also shows how despite being infected with Syphilis and probable Dementia in his later years of life, he kept dominating his space till he succumbed to a heart attack on 25 January 1947 which was a week before his 48th birthday.

At the end of the trailer, Capone was seen entering a killing spree with his Tommy gun.

“Capone” also stars Linda Cardellini as wife Mae Capone, Matt Dillon as Karlock and Kyle MacLachlan as Johnny.
