Parole Blocked For Follower Of Charles Manson

Charles Manson

The parole recommendation was recently rejected by California Gov. Gavin Newsom, for Charles Manson follower, Patricia Krenwinkel who etched the now famous words, Helter Skelter on the wall of the murder scenes, using her victim’s blood.

Newsom’s decision to reject Patricia’s parole as she was still a dangerous threat to society at large. This was the 15th time that her parole was blocked.

Charles Manson’s Gruesome Legacy

California Gov. Gavin was convinced that Patricia was completely influenced by Charles M. Whose views and ideologies were completely apocalyptical and racist in nature. Patricia was Charles Manson’s victim. She had a major contribution to the tragedy and violence now part of the Charles legacy.

A parole panel, in May, had approved Patricia’s release. Her parole was rejected 14 times prior to this.

The parole of another follower of Manson was denied by Gov. Gavin, who passed on behind bars in the year 2009.

Patricia’s attorney argued that she has had a complete transformation since her conviction 5 decades ago. She is now the longest-incarcerated woman still in prison in the U.S.

Gov. Newsom described the crimes committed by Manson and his followers, including Patricia, were the most gruesome and fear-inducing.

Patricia was convicted of brutally murdering Sharon Tate an actor, who was pregnant, and four others. The following night Krenwinkel, used a fork to stab a supermarket executive and his wife and used their blood to write on the walls, reading Helter Skelter.

Newsom describing her role as a member of the cult said that it was that of a leader and she used to enforce Manson’s Autocracy. She used to force other member women to obey Charles and stopped them from leaving when they chose to escape.

Relatives of the victims goaded Newsom to stop the parole of Patricia.
