The popular action hero Danny Trejo is out on the streets to help out those healthcare workers fighting against COVID-19 from the frontlines.
Trejo’s famous for his action-packed roles in movies like Heat, Con Air, etc, or might know him from his recent role in the very popular Breaking Bad. But he’s temporarily out donating food rather than breaking the bad.
Trejo is also the owner of a popular food joint called Trejo’s Tacos at several destinations across L.A. He filled up hundreds of bowls with steak asada, brisket, carnitas, etc and landed at the USC Verdugo Hills Hospital, L.A. to provide a filling meal to the relentless and selfless workers.
Mind you, this is not the first or only time. Danny has tried helping out the frontline workers in his way for the entire of the past week. He has prepared hundreds of meals and has provided them to all the guardians of health during this trying time.
As the nation is sucked into an increasing medical crisis, the least they could have been offered is a full belly. So, that’s what Danny and his team are out doing.
There have been other such generous actions as well. Steven Spielberg production company, Amblin Entertainment, donated food, earlier in April, to workers at Burbank hospital.
Truly, the nation needs more of such heroes to get us through this time.
