Although Nikola Jokic failed to come up for Denver Nuggets for a second time this season, the team couldn’t replicate the success of the first time- as they lost. Their match against the Chicago Bulls ended in heartbreak, as the team from Denver had been leading by 12, and then trailing by 10 in the fourth quarter, after which their frenetic comeback could only see them end at a score of 114 to 108.

Denver Nuggets Lose Out To Chicago Bulls In A Thriller

It must not be forgotten that the Denver Nuggets did put up quite a valiant effort but they couldn’t deal with Zach LaVine, who ended the game with 36 points, and then willed the team from Chicago to an exemplary win in the fourth quarter.

At one point in the game, LaVie scored 12 points in a row for the Bulls, and while the Nuggets tried to put a stopper by scoring their own, they couldn’t get any stops on the defensive end. In the end, Will Barton had a last-second attempt with a huge ATO three to cut down the difference to two, but then DeMar DeRozan drew a foul and ended up finishing the game.

For the Denver Nuggets, Aaron Gordon came in clutch with another impressive performance, with several stretches in the game when he and Thrill did their best to keep the Denver team on the verge of upsetting the Chicago Bulls. As it stands, it was exhilarating to watch AG bully his dunk contest rival Derrick Jones Jr. at every single opportunity that he received. The energy from that resulted in a season-high 28 points along with 9 rebounds.

The game would have been over a long time ago for the Denver Nuggets, but it did end up being one of the most entertaining matches of the NBA this season.
