After apparently revealing himself on the latest international trip, Desiigner has decided to put his work on pause while seeking treatment for his health.
The rapper claims that a new prescription gave him a negative chemical reaction, which caused him to behave out on a plane from Thailand and Tokyo back to the United States.
Desiigner Opens Up On The Unfortunate Incident And Prioritizing Mental Health
He stated in his story on Instagram on Thursday that he had not been okay for the past couple of weeks and that he has been finding it difficult to understand what exactly was wrong. He further added that he needed to be checked into a health institution in the middle of an overseas concert since he had not been thinking properly. He also said that he had been given medication when he had to board a flight and return home. He added that he was embarrassed by what he did on the flight and he has checked himself into a mental establishment now that he has returned to the US.
Desiigner, 25, claims he would postpone each of his planned events and commitments to acquire the assistance he requires. On this, he said, asking his fans to pray for him, that mental health was his top priority at the moment and even urged others to seek help if needed.
Desiigner and his company had been contacted for comments but none has arrived so far. Jail time has twice been avoided by the rapper, the most recent of which is this incident. Desiigner was detained in NYC in 2016 on felony drug and threatening charges, but those accusations were quickly dismissed. The “Panda” star was allegedly seen by the police waving a weapon after a rage altercation, but he did not face charges with any gun-related offenses.
