Glenn Youngkin Speaks Of Inclusiveness: Virginia Governor Supports Kari Lake Despite Supporting Trump’s Stance On 2020 Polls

Glenn Youngkin

Even as Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin crisscrossed the nation in his attempts to make the big leap and raise his profile ahead of a presidential bid in 2024, he appears comfortable straddling the ‘big lie’ divide. On the one hand, he has shown his backing for fellow republican Brian Kemp who resisted pressures from Donald Trump to overturn the presidential election in 2020.

But he also reached out to Kari Lake, the Arizona gubernatorial candidate, who is one of the 4 ‘Big Lie’ swing state Republican governor candidates. And they can upend the presidential elections in 2024.

Kari Lake, a former news anchor, is a staunch supporter of Trump’s baseless and discredited claims that he won the elections in 2020. She is also endorsed by Trump and has suggested that she will also not accept the results in case she loses the gubernatorial elections.

Glenn Youngkin Hugs Everyone As He Dons The Role Of The Great Unifier Within The GOP

GlennYoungkin, in his defense of Lake, has said that the Republicans would have to be inclusive in its membership if they are to be successful. And that includes courting politicians like Lake.

Glenn Youngkin has spoken of going forward and spoke of bringing together ‘Never Trumpers’ and ‘Forever Trumpers’. The Republican governor was thrust into the spotlight after he bucked the trend and won in Democratic Virginia.

Glenn Youngkin justified Lake’s inclusion saying the GOP has to be all-inclusive where no one is left out. He said that the state deserves a GOP Governor who can manage to bring down taxes and will create opportunities by bringing in companies.

Lake defeated an establishment back Republican and has repeatedly said that the 2020 elections were stolen and alleged that corruption was behind the final result.
