Lauren Boebert, the US representative became the talk of the table over the social media platform, Twitter. She got mocked by the users of social media. The entire incident originated from a tweet that was posted by the first-time Representative.

The tweet of Lauren Boebert was made with regard to the constitution of the United States of America. She said that there was a difference between protecting and defending the constitution. The representative explained that if a man defended it, it had nothing to do with the fact that he was making efforts to rewriting those parts that he did not favour. This tweet was made on the 19th of February.

The Twitter users took no time to launch an attack on her tweet. They started shedding some light on the history of the US Constitution. This was done as a reply to Lauren Boebert. The fact was pointed out that there had been numerous changes brought about in the provisions of the constitution. This took place after its legalization that happened in the year 1788.

The famous personalities belonging to different professions mocked Lauren Boebert following her tweet. Those include Charlotte Clymer, the American activist, George Takei, the actor-cum-activist, Kyle Klark, the 9NEWS anchor, and Amee Vanderpool, the independent journalist.

Charlotte Clymer tweeted saying that Lauren Boebert is unaware of the fact that there has been a total of 27 changes or revisions brought about in the constitution of the United States of America. She also went on to mention the provisions that were brought about including the right of the women to “run for office”. Clymer concluded by writing that the very reason why Lauren Boebert was where she is, was because of the amendments that took place.
