Following her win in the competition of Fox as Sun, singer LeAnn Rimes talked to PEOPLE about how people connect with her based on her humanity and how she started as a young singer. The singer shined brightly as Sun in season 4 of Masked Singer. On the night of Wednesday, she defeated fellow finalists Nick Carter(Crocodile) and Aloe Blacc(Mushroom) to take home and win the trophy of Golden Mask.

Judges Ken Jeong, Robin Thicke, Nicole Scherzinger, and Jenny McCarthy identified the 38-year-old singer as one of the frontrunners and she stunned everybody through the whole season with unpredictable and unexpected twists on the hit songs by Kesha, Lizzo, and Billie Eilish. Her last performance of “The Story” by Brandi Carlile meant something special for the singer who won Grammy twice.
She talked to PEOPLE about how the song is connected with her husband. The special thing about the song is a wonderful love story. That someone who is there for her through thick and thin, constantly loving her is what everyone should want in their relationship. The podcast host of Wholly Human recognized that the viewers of the singing probably know the singer from her country teenage days, the headlines from LeAnn’s marriage with Cibrian,47, or LeAnn’s pop era. But inside the costume of Sun, LeAnn could be anybody she wanted to be.

She and her husband visit Mammoth quite a lot. She described her perfect celebration as being amidst the trees with beautiful lights and family and friends around. She wants this celebration to happen.
