The majority of the population of America has received three stimulus checks till now. These checks were given to support the people financially during the pandemic. The first stimulus check was received by the people in March 2020 ($1,200), the second one worth $600 in December 2020, and the last one worth $1,400 in March 2021.

In addition to all these stimulus checks, half of the people also received $300 for each child every month and this has continued for six months straight in 2021. However, Congress is not ready to issue more stimulus checks in upcoming days and the proposal to extend the tax payments for children by President Biden was also rejected in 2022 by the Senate.
Sen. Mitt Romney has recently introduced a payment method under the Family Security Act which would allow $350 every month to needy families with children who are of age between 0 to 5 years. Similar stimulus checks of $250 will be given to families with children who are between 6to 17. Some parents who are expecting can also be eligible for this payment prior to four months of their delivery date.
The maximum amount that a family could get through checks would be $1,250. As per Romney, the financial and mental condition of people have worsened due to pandemics and the family support system has not been reformed for a long time. Moreover, the marriage rate and birth rate have also fallen due to Covid-19 which has affected the economy in the worst way possible.
