The Milwaukee Bucks scored a second win over the Brooklyn Nets in only three days. Tuesday’s Nets vs Bucks went in a similar way to the game on Sunday. For the starting three quarters, both sides exchanged leads until the Bucks took over in the last quarter.

Kevin Durant and Giannis Antetokounmpo put in a spectacular performance with 32 and 36 points respectively. Kyrie Irving, however, outscored both of them by netting 38 points alone.

The Milwaukee Bucks, though, managed to get the final say due to offensive efforts that were nicely balanced. Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday netted 23 points each while a strong showing from Bryn Forbes and Donte DiVincenzo tipped Milwaukee over the finishing line.

With Tuesday’s Nets vs Bucks over, all three head-to-heads are now done for the two sides for the regular season. They are on a course to meet again, though, in the second round of the playoffs.

Just last week, the Milwaukee Bucks was seemingly the last obstacle for Brooklyn in getting the advantage of the home court. Now, though, the Nets face the danger of dropping to number 3 in their Conference. The two wins of Milwaukee got them the tiebreaker over the Nets.

Brooklyn Nets also lost out to Portland on Friday. As such, the side has 23 games to their name while the Bucks have 22. The next two games of the Nets are against Dallas and Denver, which are formidable sides. As things stand, there is a real possibility of the Bucks losing both of them. After that, it will be up to the Bucks to get 2nd seed.

The actual winner of the Nets vs Bucks tie is of course Philadelphia. The 76ers still have to play 7 games, all of them being quite easy.
