On Tuesday, over 10 nurses stood outside the White House to protest against the lack of PPE. Their main demand was for the administration to acquire more PPE for the nurses. They even presented a heart-breaking list of the names of 50 nurses who had died after contracting the deadly virus.
They had to take a break from their job and protest for the sake of their colleagues. They are staring at the face of a morbid reality where health care workers are losing their lives due to a severe lack of protective gear.
They revealed that they don’t feel more like martyrs rather than heroes.
