The New York Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez completely rejected the claims of Florida GOP Rep. Ted Yoho’s verdict. According to Yoho, nobody was bullied or attacked or bullied during the Capitol’s steps during the tensed exchange between them. Rep. Ocasio-Cortez claimed that both Yoho and the Texas Republican lawmaker were both lying blatantly. This was followed by her revelation about the incident that took place that day.
She stated that she was walking up the Capitol’s front steps to get vote cast when she was approached by both, Yoho along with the Texas GOP Rep. Roger Williams. Yoho shouted at her and things kept getting worse.
When asked on Friday about the details of the incident, Rep. Williams completely refused about the incident. He also refused the fact that he was not even a part of the entire incident of bullying her. He also refused to discuss the incident any further and also rejected all the claims of Rep. Ted Yono having bullied her at all.
“Do you really believe that people are shooting and killing each other because they’re hungry? You know, You’re unbelievable. You’re disgusting,” Yoho said, according to Ocasio-Cortez, saying the Florida conservative was wagging his finger at her.
