Peta Murgatroyd and Maks Chmerkovskiy’s family seems to be growing- as they have now added a furry member to it.
The 36-year-old professional dancer, and her husband, recently surprised their firstborn with a puppy- just a few months before they would be welcoming their second baby together. In an Instagram post made on Friday, the couple posted the picture of their puppy with the caption, “Meet our newest family member, Hachi Chmerkovskiy.” In the Instagram video, Maks walked his son, Shai Aleksander, down into the room where the surprise was kept. After uncovering his son’s eyes with his hands, the 6-year-old slid on his stomach to play with his fluffy little friend.
Peta Murgatroyd’s Family Now Includes A Puppy
The caption from Peta Murgatroyd further read that the little puppy had already brought a lot of joy into their lives over the last couple of days, with loads of kisses, licks, and an uber-playful temperament. The adorable video shows Shai petting the puppy in his lap after his mother hands him the poodle. Later, he is also seen being adorably overwhelmed in the clip when the puppy starts licking him, and his parents’ faces while cuddling on the couch. The video then moves on to the family setting up the kennel with toys and beds. Shai, on his part, keeps playing with the pup, who is naturally quite excited- and constantly circling around the child.
Peta Murgatroyd and Maks tied the knot in July 2017, and they are currently expecting their second child, as revealed by PEOPLE in January. The exciting news came just after the couple had opened up about their three miscarriages- and months of the professional dancer documenting the entire journey that she undertook for fertility on social media.
