Regina King, one of the Oscar-winning actresses, debuted in the show, Saturday Night Live. She hosted the show. She started off the show by talking about her career which had been a “pretty wild” one. She also addressed the fact to the audience that she has been famous for “different titles”.

She told the audience that they definitely know her from their favourite entertainment shows. However, for this, they have to belong to the black community. Regina King also laid down the same condition for the white audience. She said that they would know her from the show, Watchmen.
The new host is the lead of the show. She is also the director of “The One Night in Miami”. She added that for her, the year 2020 has not been free of any fame. To describe how she deals with fame and getting grounded, Regina George left a humorous comment. She went on to say that, in order to balance out her fame, she visits any town full of white people. The actress added that in doing so, she is quickly brought down to being a “suspicious shopper”.
Regina King was supported by Kenan Thompson in hosting the talk show. The comedian showed himself with chains and a hat on. He gave his full support by keeping the audience entertained throughout as the new host carried out her work. As she gave her opening monologue, the comedian continued rapping in the background about the accomplishments of the Oscar-winning actor. However, in the middle of this scene, King claimed to him that she does not need any more help in continuing the show. What she precisely stated was, “I don’t need all that”.
