Jasmine Crockett Was The Only Woman To Play For The Democrats

June 14’s Congressional Baseball Game has been played as a bipartisan event by the Democrats and the Republicans since 1909. This event is organized to raise funds. The Republicans won the game for the third time in a row. Representative Jasmine Crockett was the only woman participant in the game from the Democratic Party. Jasmine Crockett served as a Texas State legislator in 2021. She in her first year in the state house had presented around 60 bills, which aimed at the expansion of voting rights, reform of criminal justice and the loosening of drug-related laws. Previously, Representative Mia Love had participated in the Congressional Game as the first black Republican woman.
