Ricardo Pepi Is Sending USMNT To Nations League Final Four

The USMNT striker, Ricardo Pepi said that his career has been a roller coaster ride in the last eight months. The striker has recently scored three goals for his national side that includes a one to nil victory against El Salvador.

Ricardo Pepi got his place in the USMNT since the coach snubbing his off in the last World Cup in Qatar. He has spent his time on loan to Groningen from Augsburg, a Bundesliga side. There he has scored ten goals in all competition.

The FC Dallas’ former forward has entered the field in the second half as a substitute. After mere minutes of entering the field for USMNT, he caught McKennie’s perfect through and scored with a lovely cheap shot. This way he secured a win for his team.

After the match, Ricardo said that it has been a roller coaster ride for him in the past few months. He said that he is joyous to be back and scoring for the national side and helping his teammates.

Ricardo Pepi back With The USMNT Again

Pepi has also scored a brace on Friday where they were triumphant against Gernada. However, the final tally of the goals this week has been the most important part for the player. While the USMNT needed only a draw to reach the Concacaf nation’s league, Pepi decided to take that match to secure his place in the team. Well, what better ways to do that than scoring some goals?

Pepi scored twice against Gernada in which the USMNT won the match by 7-1 scoreline. In the El Salvador match, Pepi was a substitution scoring the goal. In such situations, most coaches will be considered as genius. However, the coach said that it pleases him to see a player score and come out stronger of the rough situations they have been in.
