Elon Musk To Shift Base To Austin, Texas
Elon Musk has been on the news for a major part of 2020. Just a month back he was clowned on Twitter for testing both negative and positive for the coronavirus. The Tesla CEO expressed his doubts surrounding Covid-19 tests and also went on to call the tests “bogus”. He also earned a new nickname this year called “Space Karen” after his comments on the Covid-19 testing system. His nickname was trending on Twitter for quite some time where people tweeted that Space Karen didn’t read up on the test before complaining to his millions of followers and so on.
On the more recent issue, Elon Musk states that California has been winning for a long time and when some place continues to win for a long time it tends to become a bit complacent. Further adding that he doesn’t wish that for his company, Musk justifies his shift to Texas.
He further adds that the Silicon Valley has excessive influence on the world after mentioning that he will be shifting operations to Texas. The CEO had talked about similar plans in July, 2020 mentioning a base in Austin. The SpaceX venture also has “massive operations” in Texas.
