There is an ongoing delicate matter that involves children and women. The matter of abortion has caught the attention of the Senate. They recently overturned a republicans request upon the abortion rule.
The House has perhaps sided with the veterans’ rule. The GOP Leaders thought they were making progress in the United States legislation. By trying to implement various types of bans on abortion. They were going against public demand. The angry public perhaps didn’t vote for those leaders to restrict their personal choices.
The Senate Supports The VA’s Rules
Before the vote, President Joe Biden vouched for a veto. Rather making it clear there will be no overturns regarding the abortion bill.
The Senate has voted for the Veterans rule. They will be no exception whatsoever. Their vote came at the most crucial time of the year. When the whole nation is fighting for abortion rights.
The majority of the Senate, who are also Democrats, supported the Republican’s choice in this matter.
A few days republic party member Ron DeSantis signed a bill that would eventually restrict women from getting help.
However, his bill is yet to pass by the supreme court.
The majority of the state has voiced against the bill he signed. If the bill passed it would make the women’s lives difficult there. Previously they restricted the abortion after six weeks. Where many democrats argued how many women don’t even realize they are pregnant.
Now they are restricting women who need help even going out of the state.
They have also banned medical practitioners from prescribing medicines for those women.
The Senate has sided with the veterans’ rule, there will be no exception whatsoever. Only exceptions will be made when a woman is a victim of rape or incest. Or even when the woman’s life is in danger. There is a slim to no possibility of the survival of the baby or the mother. Abortion will be only considered then.
