Emma Stone revealed in her recent interview with NY Times about her co-star, Willem Dafoe is quite an opposite of the whole look it’s my kind of performance. Yorgos Lanthimos, the director of the upcoming Hollywood movie ‘And’ co-starring actors Dafoe and Stone, recently joined in on Thursday to talk about their process with Dafoe’s profile coming up for the film.

According to the Times, a particular scene in the movie compromises 34-year-old Stone slapping actor Willem Dafoe off camera. The 67-year-old marvel alum even claimed that he made the actress slap him about 20 times pre-shoot to make the live-action look more believable on screen.
Emma Stone didn’t step back from giving us some insights in regards to Dafoe’s acting life, the La La Land star commented there’s an instinct that most actors have while performing and that’s a ‘Look it’s me’ kinda attitude, she added that Willem Dafoe is in fact the polar opposite to that.
Details of the plotline to “And” are hidden behind the curtains yet, but as been heard out from previous reports dating back to October 2022 the film finished off shooting in New Orleans and according to sources would be starring- Joe Alwyn, Jesse Plemons, Hong Chau, and Margaret Qualley.
Director Lanthimos has also previously collaborated with actors Alwyn and Stone for their 2018 film called ‘The Favourite’ which got nominated for about 10 Oscars. Lead Olivia Colman received her Best Actress Award due to her astounding role as Queen Anne, while Rachel Weisz and Stone both earned nominations for the Best Supporting Actress Award.
