The voting lines for the eight contestants of the singing contest, American Idol, have been closed. The contestants gave their performance on the 4th of April. The votes will decide who will be among the selected Top 16. 

Another batch of 12 artists is yet to give the performance. They will be taking the next eight spots according to the votes. All of the 12 artists of American Idol will have to perform both solo and duet each. The contestants will be accompanied by the all-star for the duet. It is this performance that will make the decision of the fate of their journey in the singing competition. 

American Idol Performance Details

The all-star for this season of American Idol includes Tori Kelly, Jewel, PJ Morton, Jason Aldean, Brandon Boyd, and Josh Groban. The contestants will be made to give a live performance in front of the audience. 

The name of the contestants performing in this season of American Idol includes Jason Warrior, Madison Watkins, Beane, Hanna Everhart, Mary Jo Young, Chace Beckham, Colin Jamieson, Liahona Olayan, Ava August, Caleb Kennedy, Hunter Metts and Casey Bishop. 

The songs that the contestants will be performing include a range of genres by numerous talented artists. They include the beloved songs of artists like Weeknd, Justin Bieber, Dua Lipa, Chris Stapleton, Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars, Audrey Mika, Olivia Rodrigo, Allman Brothers Band, Sia, and Paramore. 

The Grammy-winner, PJ Morton will be giving a total of two performances singing alongside the contestants, Jason Warrior and Liahona Olayan. And the alum of the show, Tori Kelly, will be performing a total of two times. The singer will be sharing the stage with the contestants, Madison Watkins and Colin Jamieson. With Watkins, Tori will be singing, “Don’t You Worry Bout A Thing”, and “Hollow” will be performed with Colin.
