The voting lines for the eight contestants of the singing contest, American Idol, have been closed. The contestants gave their performance on the 4th of April. The votes will decide who will be among the selected Top 16.

The songs that the contestants will be performing include a range of genres by numerous talented artists. They include the beloved songs of artists like Weeknd, Justin Bieber, Dua Lipa, Chris Stapleton, Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars, Audrey Mika, Olivia Rodrigo, Allman Brothers Band, Sia, and Paramore.
The Grammy-winner, PJ Morton will be giving a total of two performances singing alongside the contestants, Jason Warrior and Liahona Olayan.
