Brian Stelter, the host of the popular news channel, CNN, faced direct criticism from Joe Rogan, the famous podcast host. Rogan mocked him by referring to his ratings that were witnessing a fall. He also went on to criticize the show of the host, Reliable Sources. It was called “terrible.” It was on the episode of the podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, that aired this Thursday.

The 53-year-old Rogan mentioned one of the segments of the CNN channel where some hosts had talked about the existence of certain YouTubers who were drawing much more viewers than the cable networks ever could. The podcast host stated that the hosts talked in a way that carried the idea of them having full control over the viewers. He also claimed that the market preferred them more than Brian Stelter’s “terrible” show. 

Brian Stelter’s Show Is “Terrible”- Joe Rogan

Attacking the hosts, Joe Rogan stated that the ratings of the CNN shows were just dropping each day. He precisely mentioned Brian Stelter, the American chief media correspondent of CNN, and Don Lemon, the American television journalist. He was accused of being unreal on Thursday’s episode of the Joe Rogan Experience. The host also stated that everybody is aware of their unreal nature. The talk show of Brian Stelter called the “Reliable Sources” that airs every Sunday, has faced an extreme drop in their ratings. Things started going down for them in the summer of 2021.

According to the global marketing research company called Nielsen data, the rating of Brian Stelter went down by 57 percent since the month of January. The show, Reliable Sources, has also witnessed a major drop in viewers as compared to the year 2020. Rogan also spoke about the interview of the said CNN host with Jen Psaki, the press secretary of the White House. He’s criticizing the interview adds his name to the list of the already existing long queue of critics. Glenn Greenwald had termed it to be “fawning.”
